Co Host of ABC’s ‘The View’ Finally Admits She Made Mistake About Donald Trump, Says That He Was A Legitimate President
One of the co-hosts on “The View” has now conceded that former President Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election of 2016 was lawful, but only now that it is convenient for her to do so years after the election.
According to Mediaite, Sunny Hostin acknowledged on Wednesday that she was incorrect when she stated that Donald Trump “was not an illegitimate president.”
The host stated that the assumption was, at least hers, that Moscow must have been implicated since they could see that from the Mueller fact sheet that Russia had some active participation; Russia thought it could have benefited from a Trump presidency, which she contends it did. She continued by saying that she remembers labeling Trump an illegitimate president in the past, which was an incorrect assessment on her part. That was a foolish thing for her to say.
Whoopi Goldberg informed her that it was how she actually felt. And that she was perfectly within her rights to say what she did.
One has to ask if Goldberg has the same feelings about individuals who have concerns over other elections.
Hostin didn’t pass up the opportunity to take another jab at Trump, so she said that despite everything, Trump is still a one-term president who has been forced out of office twice and is a disgrace. Stating that each and every one of those is correct.
Hostin argued that the campaign of the previous president did not cooperate with the Russians, and there is where she believes she went wrong in her analysis.
Co-host Joy Behar stated that she was unaware of the fact. Saying that she doesn’t know that Trump wasn’t communicating with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“There was an investigation, and we have to believe that when the FBI and the Department of Justice conducts investigations, we have to believe that. That is another tenet of our democracy,” Hostin said.
This comes after the press secretary for the White House was called out for her previous election denials.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Fox & Friends,” Peter Doocy offered his thoughts on White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-previous Pierre’s tweets, in which she questioned the legitimacy of the outcomes of elections.
He stated that Democrats and Joe Biden are actively promoting the narrative that democracy is being threatened by fanatics supporting MAGA policies. The paradox is that someone at the platform in the White House genuinely resembles one of the MAGA zealots on the opposing side.
It would appear that he is making reference to these older tweets that were posted before she was appointed as the press secretary.
On April 2, 2020, she made a statement in which she stated that “Reminder: Brian Kemp stole the governor election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams.“

On December 17, 2016, she made the statement, “Stolen emails, stolen drone, stolen election…..welcome to the world of #unpresidented Trump,” which she tweeted.
