Donald Trump Jr. Says Fox Blocked Him From Debate Spin Room: ‘Shouldn’t Surprise Any Of Us’

Donald Trump Jr. claims that Fox News blocked him from participating in their post-debate spin room. The Republican frontrunner’s son mentioned that he had been told by others that he would be able to participate in the post-debate discussion on how the candidates performed but that evidentially security did not allow this. Trump Jr. said that these underhanded activities “shouldn’t surprise any of us” and that such actions “are no different from what we see from the Democrats.”

Mr. Trump began his statement by observing that this was activity that was “trying to ban people from actually having discourse about politics. Probably shouldn’t surprise any of us but that is what it is. I have been told by others that I would be able to go in so they said we weren’t able to go in then they said we were and now that we are here-” The former president’s son was interrupted by someone asking “who said you can’t go in the spin room?”

“They are telling me right now. Fox won’t let me into the spin room. They are telling him- he works for security here- but they are telling him that I am not allowed to go in there,” responded Trump Jr. He mused that this was “because the candidates that they have been boosting while simultaneously trying to cut down Trump [his father] for the last- what- 2 years didn’t perform as they had hoped. So they can’t have someone who can may be a representative of my father.”

“Just like a few weeks ago when I was cancelled after the first indictment. I was scheduled to go on and about 5 minutes before I am on, I find out I am no longer on. Apparently, I won’t be a great surrogate to talk about my father’s indictment. Just so we understand we were are dealing with here so it should not surprise any of us. It also why Trump was 100 percent right not to go to this debate. It is beneath him and when you know that you are walking into a setup because of exactly these kinds of circumstances you understand exactly what is going on in mainstream media even conservative [media],” remarked Don Jr.

He added, “I like to knock the one side but I got to call balls and strikes this is no different from what we see from the Democrats. It is no different than what we see from the Fulton County DA when they are trying to put a gag order on Donald Trump so that he can’t defend himself in court proceedings and more importantly to function as an intimidation tactic for anyone else who would defend him where the DA is saying ‘hey, we going to add you people to the indictment if you take part in this.'”
