Twitter CEO Elon Musk is taking his new job very seriously considering he is fact checking United States Congress members for sharing false information on his platform.

On Monday, Musk fact checked far-left California congress member Ted Lieu so badly that he was forced to delete his own tweet.

The initial tweet from Lieu came in response to the Twitter File’s drop on Monday morning about what Twitter did to censor COVID information that didn’t go with their agenda.

“Dear @davidzweig: The tweet you cite is in fact misleading. People of all ages at high risk from COVID generally benefit from vaccines,” Lieu tweeted. “Prior natural immunity may last only a few months. COVID appears to be a leading cause of death for children.”

Musk later replied to another tweet that stated: “@tedlieu The preprint you linked to has actually been re-written as a result of my critique because it is seriously flawed and inaccurate. You linked to the old version.”

Musk then fact checked Lieu, tweeting, “Ted is linking to misleading data @CommunityNotes.”

Lieu then deleted his tweet. Check it out below:

Monday’s Twitter Files drop was shocking to say the least. According to the files, former FBI Agent Jim Baker who worked at Twitter as Deputy General Counsel, tried getting former President Donald Trump suspended from Twitter for simply telling people to not be afraid of COVID-19.

“In a surreal exchange, Jim Baker, at the time Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel, asks why telling people to not be afraid wasn’t a violation of Twitter’s Covid-19 misinformation policy,” reported Zweig.

He attached a photo of an email between Baker and former Twitter head of Trust and Safety Yoel Roth which read: “Why isn’t this POTUS tweet a violation of our COVID-19 policy (especially the “Don’t be afraid of COVID statement)?”

An FBI asset wanted the president of the United States banned for being optimistic. This shocking statement begs the question: If Baker thought being optimistic was a crime, how else was he abusing his power while working at the FBI?

Roth then had to follow up with Baker, telling him that being optimistic is not a crime.

“Adding you to the main thread on this subject. In short, this tweet is a broad, optimistic statement. It doesn’t incite people to do something harmful, nor does it recommend against taking precautions or following mask directives (or tother guidelines). It doesn’t fall within the published scope of our policies. Curious whether you have a different read on it, though,” Roth responded.

Read more analysis below of the Twitter Files released this morning:

“THREAD: THE TWITTER FILES: HOW TWITTER RIGGED THE COVID DEBATE – By censoring info that was true but inconvenient to U.S. govt. policy,” David Zweig begins in his new Twitter thread, “By discrediting doctors and other experts who disagreed – By suppressing ordinary users, including some sharing the CDC’s *own data*”

“The United States government pressured Twitter and other social media platforms to elevate certain content and suppress other content about Covid-19,” he continued.

While the Trump administration *did* have concerns about some information being spread online, it was the far-left Biden administration who took things up a notch and pressured Twitter to censor anything that opposed their narrative. The twitter files reveal that the Biden administration would specifically look to ban anyone who was an anti-va*xer”

“When the Biden admin took over, one of their first meeting requests with Twitter executives was on Covid. The focus was on ‘anti-vax*er accounts.’ Especially Alex Berenson,” Zweig says.

It was “one of the first meeting requests from the Biden White House” that “COVID misinformation” be suppressed. They specifically targeted Berenson due to his reporting.

“Berenson sued (and then settled with) Twitter. In the legal process Twitter was compelled to release certain internal communications, which showed direct White House pressure on the company to take action on Berenson,” Zweig wrote.

Twitter also censored MEDICAL EXPERTS due to pressure from the Biden administration. Read the following thread below for more:
