During an interview with MSNBC, Dr. Anthony Fauci continued with his radical COVID-19 rhetoric when he claimed that the United States is “still in the middle of a pandemic.

“Here we are going into the third year of it and we are still in the middle of a pandemic with the numbers that you just showed,” Fauci said.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has narrowed his sights on Fauci, teasing an upcoming Twitter Files drop. On Sunday morning, Musk trolled liberals on Twitter when he said his pronouns were “Prosecute/Fauci.”

Over the past week, Musk has brought on journalists to study what was going on behind the scenes at Twitter when controversial decisions were made including the decision to permanently ban former President Donald Trump.

“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.”

While speaking to reporter Max Kozlov of the science magazine Nature, Dr. Fauci said that he was not bothered by the attack as he went on to attack Musk himself.

“I don’t pay attention to that, Max, and I don’t even feel I need to respond,” Dr. Fauci whined. “A lot of that stuff is just a cesspool of misinformation, and I don’t waste a minute worrying about it.”

“Do you feel your safety is at risk?” Kozlov asked.

“Of course it’s at risk, that’s why I have armed federal agents with me all the time,” Fauci said. “[Musk’s tweet] stirs a lot of hate in people who have no idea why they’re hating, they’re hating because somebody [famous] is tweeting about it.”

Over the weekend in a column of The New York Times, Fauci, who is responsible for parroting misinformation himself, claimed “misinformation” is why it remains hard to contain the virus in America.

“We also must acknowledge that our fight against C‌‌ovid-19 has been hindered by the profound political divisiveness in our society,” Dr. Fauci wrote. “In a way that we have never seen before, decisions about public health measures such as wearing masks and being vaccinated with highly effective and safe vaccines have been influenced by disinformation and political ideology.”
