Florida Gubernatorial Candidate Charlie Crist Portrays Himself As Jesus Christ Fighting Against ‘DeSatan’

Self-absorbed Charlie Crist, the Democratic candidate for Florida’s gubernatorial seat, in a stump speech recently uncovered this week, compared himself to Jesus Christ as he said they had similar last names. In a similar fashion, he compared his republican opponent, Ron DeSantis, to “The Satan.”

Referring to the election battle, he said he was fighting against the devil himself. He further asserted that his ‘christ’ will have no problems defeating DeSantis’ ‘devil.’

According to Daily Caller, the video was taken at a campaign on the 17th of March this year. In the same video, the democrat candidate also compared himself to President Volodymyr Zelensky. 

He said, “Yeah, we’re fighting for freedom too. We’re fighting for freedom too. And Zelensky, President Zelensky, is amazing. And the courage, and the strength, and the decency that he shows.”

Crist added, “This is an election about decency, about being decent to one another, about being kind to everyone. It’s called a Florida for all. You know, we got a divider on the other side,” making reference to DeSantis and upholding himself as the unifier who will save Florida from his opponent who happens to be the current governor. 

The democratic candidate continued as his audience indulged him, “You know, some people call him ‘DeSatan,’ have you heard that?” 

Crist adds that the Florida election is between DeChrist and DeSatan and not just between the republican party or the democratic party or between two contestants. He further stated that the Floridians must make a simple choice to think about what they would like in the state, good or evil.

He said, “The choice is crystal clear. There’s no question about it. It is crystal clear. He’s bad. We’re good.”

A spokesperson for DeSantis dismissed Crist’s insensible speeches as he noted that the democrat candidate is known for such menace. However, he admitted that this revealed video is at a new level, even for Crist, and he should be embarrassed for making such statements in public. 

“Charlie Crist has always been self-absorbed, but comparing himself to the second coming of Jesus Christ is a new level of bizarre delusion. He’s beyond embarrassing — and it’s only September.”

In a recent interview, DeSantis said that the only way to stop the democrats from further embarrassing the nation and themselves would be to take back control of the United States House of Representatives and the Senate. At the moment, the democrats have the upper hand, courtesy of the Vice President’s tie-breaking vote. 

DeSantis added that the only way to take back the United States would be to hold Biden accountable for all his failures as the leader of the United States.

He said, “We’ll hold Biden accountable. This is a referendum on his failures, make sure everybody knows how his policies have contributed to the mess we’re in. I think if you do that, I think Republicans are going to win both chambers.”
