Fox News is facing criticism after cutting its live feed during a weather report in Morgan City, Louisiana when a man carrying a Trump flag appeared on camera.

The incident occurred as the network was covering the aftermath of Hurricane Francie, which had weakened to a tropical depression but still brought significant rainfall and wind to the area.

The live broadcast featured a Fox Weather reporter on the ground, providing updates on the storm’s impact. As the reporter spoke to the anchor back in the studio, a man waving a large Trump flag suddenly appeared in the background, shouting inaudibly over the sound of the wind and rain.

Without addressing the interruption, the reporter quickly tried to cover the camera lens with his hand and informed the studio, “We’re gonna have to throw it back to the studio.” The network immediately cut away from the scene, sparking backlash on social media.

Critics accused Fox News of censoring the Trump supporter, with viewers expressing their frustration over the network’s reluctance to show the scene.

Many took to social media to voice their displeasure, calling it an attempt to silence a pro-Trump message during the live broadcast.
