Joe Biden Gave Liz Cheney A Call After Her Embarrassing Loss In Wyoming

If there’s a lesson that liberals and RINOs should have learned by now, it’s that if you cross former President Donald Trump, he will strike back like Episode 5. That’s a Star Wars reference for you non-nerds.

Wyoming Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney lost her bid for reelection on Tuesday to Harriet Hageman, a candidate who had received the Trump seal of approval. Cheney made an enemy of Trump when she sided with Democrats during his impeachment trial concerning his involvement in the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

Since then, the two have been in a war of words, with Trump now having the last laugh, though Cheney seemed to hint that she might be considering a run for president in her concession speech Tuesday evening and follow-up interviews not long after.

According to Newsmax, we’ve now learned that after her massive defeat at the hands of a MAGA candidate, President Joe Biden rang her up on the phone to have a chat.

“The White House declined to comment about Biden reaching out to Cheney after she lost to Harriet Hageman, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump. A Cheney spokesman did not immediately respond to Bloomberg’s requests for comment about the call,” the report said.

Cheney was expected to lose her race on Tuesday, so the loss wasn’t surprising to the rest of us, though it may have been a slap to her face. This is a clear wake-up call that she doesn’t have as much support as she thinks.

“Congratulations to Harriet Hageman on her great and very decisive win in Wyoming,” Trump wrote in a post published on his Truth Social platform. “This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs.”

“Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!” the former president wrote.

And guess what, folks?

Cheney still has not learned her lesson yet. Can you believe that? Not even a massive loss of 37 points is enough to get the truth through her head that conservatives are not interested in her. Instead of accepting what people were telling her, she’s decided to double down, saying that she would do “whatever it takes” to stand in the way of Trump’s journey back to the White House.

This gal just doesn’t get it. How much more does Cheney need to see before she understands that the American people are done with establishment politicians? The election of Trump in 2016 should have done the trick, but apparently not.

If Cheney does decide to run for president, she’s going to fail miserably. Hopefully, two massive losses in a row will do to her political career what losing to Trump in 2016 did to Jeb Bush’s career.

End it permanently.
