Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) let one rip—verbally—during a speech in Colorado on Friday, and the internet isn’t letting her live it down.

While alongside Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for their “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here” tour, AOC attempted to rally the crowd by saying, “We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us.”

Instead, she blurted out, “We need a Democratic Party that farts harder for us.”

Cue the internet meltdown.

This isn’t AOC’s first blunder, and at this rate, it won’t be her last. The congresswoman has racked up quite the list of verbal misfires, from predicting the world would end in 12 years to suggesting that the economy functions on “vibes.”

Her latest slip-up only fuels critics who argue she lacks the polish and gravitas needed for serious political leadership.
