JUST IN: Trump Taps Alina Habba For White House Role
President-elect Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Sunday evening that Alina Habba will be joining his White House team as counselor to the president.
“Alina has been a tireless advocate for Justice, a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law, and an invaluable Advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team. She has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve – standing with me through numerous “trials,” battles, and countless days in Court,” the president-elect wrote. “Few understand the Weaponization of the ‘Injustice’ System better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of Lawfare with courage and an unshakable commitment to Justice.”
Trump went on to praise Habba as a “role model for women in Law and Politics.”

“Honor of my life to serve the 45th and 47th President and the American people,” Habba wrote in an X post of her own.
Habba first joined President-elect Trump’s legal team in 2021 and has since represented him in a number of high-profile cases, including New York Attorney General Letitia James’ frivolous lawsuit against Trump. James accused Trump of undervaluing the value of his Mar-A-Lago estate, stating that the Palm Beach property is worth just $17 million. A Manhattan judge agreed with the ruling despite the fact that smaller, surrounding properties are worth upwards of $40 million.
The bogus verdict is currently being appealed.
Habba has also represented Trump in a number of lawsuits, including a defamation suit he filed against the New York Times, and emerged as a staunch Trump advocate during the 2024 Election cycle.
“Despite the lawfare and the politics, President Trump loves the American people and he loves this For decades, the Trump Organization transformed skylines and created thousands of jobs. His buildings and businesses are a testament to his commitment to excellence and his drive to turn dreams into reality. But his greatest construction project was yet to come,” Habba she said while speaking at the Republican National Convention back in July.
“The left has tried to demolish President Trump, but there is no bulldozer big enough or strong enough to remove the legacy that he has built or the future he is creating. As the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump built a legacy of putting America first. And as the 47th president, he will build America stronger than ever for we, the people.”
