The widow of legendary conservative radio personality Rush Limbaugh, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, recently made an appearance on Glenn Beck’s radio program where she took time to reflect on her husband’s extraordinary life, going on to say that one of his greatest traits was that he was “so humble. He had the biggest heart. He was so sincere, and he never forgot the little guy.”
You’d be hard-pressed to find a single individual that is involved in helping to spread the message, principles, and values of conservative ideology that wasn’t in some way influenced by Rush. His contribution to the movement cannot be overstated. Thanks to the doors he smashed through, many of us now today have a place to share our way of thinking and a voice with which to make ourselves heard.
According to TheBlaze, Kathryn was asked during the interview with Beck if the rumors surrounding Rush’s death certificate listing his occupation as “Radio’s Greatest of All Time” were true. And the answer was in the affirmative.
Rush’s widow laughed and said, “Yes. We have to be on brand at all times. Very important … it was a way to tweak the media as a final goodbye from Rush, which we know he certainly would have loved.”
Kathryn Limbaugh confirms to me that yes, Rush Limbaugh's death certificate actually lists his occupation as "Radio's Greatest of All Time": "It was a way to tweak the media as a final goodbye from Rush." pic.twitter.com/qzhxSinLDZ

Beck then went on to ask Kathryn if Elton John, who actually performed at the couple’s wedding back in 2010, knew that she was tying the knot with a conservative talk radio host.
“He did!” Kathryn responded. “And this may be breaking news, but I believe that Sir Elton John and Rush are actually very, very similar. They had quite a similar demeanor off of their performance personality. I believe that they both were so hard-working, they both were at the top of their game, so to speak, they both loved their audience … so in many respects, they were very similar.”

That’s an amazing testament to how much of a great person Limbaugh really was. He had the ability to talk with folks on the opposite side of the aisle, even though he was often gruff and confrontational when it was necessary, which is something that is almost impossible to do these days, thanks to all of the liberal snowflakes who melt whenever someone refuses to bow the knee to the tyranny they push.
We used to be able to have conversations with each other about the issues that impact our nation, coming at them from different perspectives, but not wishing each other harm. This bit of human decency has disappeared in recent years.
Limbaugh helped to create an entire industry, making conservative radio a real, legitimate platform for spreading the message of liberty. For this, we all owe him a major debt of gratitude, which can never be repaid. His loss is a devastating one, but thankfully, he has passed on his legacy to many of the big names we have in the movement today.
Without Rush, there would be no Tucker Carlson, Glenn Beck, or any other major influence that is helping to shape future generations of conservatives. Rest in peace, El Rushbo.
