Mark Levin Reveals Rock-Solid Impeachment Case That Republicans MUST Pursue

In a compelling segment of “Hannity” on Fox News, renowned conservative commentator, Mark Levin, laid out a robust case for impeaching President Joe Biden. Levin, dubbed “the Great One” by Hannity, delved into the legal nuances and constitutional grounds that, in his view, make Biden’s actions impeachable.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives, under Republican leadership, initiated a formal impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.

Levin explained, “The United States Constitution compels a president that he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed…the president United States has his own oath…to faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States. And will the best of my ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

“Joe Biden violated every single federal immigration law that’s on the books,” said Levin. “He’s doing it every day, he’s doing it intentionally, the border’s wide open, the American people are less safe… Now why is all that important? It’s important because it’s an impeachable offense.”

According to Levin, the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis constitutes a blatant disregard for law enforcement, leading to increased insecurity and illegal activities at the border.

The focus then shifted to the concept of “high crimes,” as mentioned in the impeachment clause of the Constitution. In Levin’s perspective, Biden’s refusal to enforce immigration laws and his approach to the student loan issue are clear violations of this principle.

“The framers of the Constitution…looked at another thing 17th and 18th century British common law… What is a high crime?…he [Biden] has committed a high crime multiple high crimes by refusing to enforce our laws.”

Levin critiqued Biden for overstepping executive authority, particularly in the handling of student loans. He pointed out that the President does not possess the power to control the “power of the purse,” which constitutionally resides with the House of Representatives.

“He will not uphold the law? He will not secure the border? That is a high crime, that is an impeachable offense. See how simple that is. We don’t need subpoenas. We don’t need depositions.”

The core of the impeachment delves into Biden’s involvement in his family’s foreign business dealings, especially the potential criminal finance violations during his 2020 presidential campaign. The move echoes the political tensions that have been simmering since former President Donald Trump’s impeachments.

Earlier this month, the House Oversight Committee disclosed subpoenaed bank records indicating that Hunter’s business entity, Owasco P.C., had made direct monthly payments to President Biden.

The discussion then turned to the ongoing legal challenges faced by former President Donald Trump. Levin highlighted a recent victory for Trump, where a federal judge agreed to pause proceedings in his January 6th case, pending a decision on Trump’s claim of immunity from prosecution due to his status as a former President.

The decision represented a devastating blow to Special Counsel Jack Smith, who aimed to see Trump tried and convicted before the November 2024 election. As a result, all impending deadlines and court dates have been suspended, casting uncertainty on Trump’s previously scheduled trial date of March 4, 2024.

Levin concluded his interview with Hannity by urging Republican lawmakers to prioritize and simplify the impeachment process. He suggested that focusing on clear, understandable issues like the violation of constitutional duties and the overreach of executive power would resonate more effectively with the American public.
