Nikki Haley Goes Against DeSantis, Extends Warm Welcome to Disney

In response to the ongoing legal battle between Disney and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley has weighed in on the matter. However, she took a different stance than her Republican counterparts.

Haley emphasized the importance of partnering with businesses to create a thriving economy. She pointed out that South Carolina is an anti-“woke” state and would ‘welcome Disney with open arms’ if they were to consider moving their jobs and billions of dollars to the state.

The 2024 candidate took a shot at DeSantis on Twitter: “SC’s not woke, but we’re not sanctimonious about it either.”

The issue isn’t DeSantis or Disney’s jobs. The issue is Disney mischaracterizing Florida’s parents rights act as a don’t say gay bill and threatening to help overturn it. Read the simple 5 page bill Governor Haley. Then tell us your new position after your apology.

This is a very bad take, Governor.

Disney has done nothing but move in bad faith towards wokeness and child grooming. There’s a bad message in their movies nowadays towards trying to indoctrinate our kids. DeSantis was completely correct in fighting them.
