Seattle Socialist Democrat Who Pushed Defunding Police, Angry Cops Didn’t Protect Her From Poop Tosser

An outspoken socialist Democrat who is a member of the Seattle City Council and loves to slam cops, lending her support to defunding police, is now shredding local law enforcement for not pursuing reports of several instances where poop was thrown into her yard. These people are just utterly ridiculous, aren’t they? This individual attacks the police and essentially strips them of their funding, but then fully expects those that are left on the force after cutbacks to spend their precious time chasing down a poop thrower.

I don’t know which is more absurd. The fact that Seattle Councilmember Kshama Sawant wants to simultaneously defund police while also demanding they chase down this person throwing crap in her yard, or the fact that there is some random person out there just tossing handfuls of doody around like it’s no big deal.

Fox News reported, “Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, a self-described socialist, sent a letter to police in Seattle this week claiming they are ‘failing to investigate’ what she says are six separate instances of a politically motivated person throwing feces into her yard, KCPQ-TV reported.”

“There is obviously a glaring inconsistency between this approach and the way in which former Mayor Durkan, after a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest was held a short distance from her mansion, was provided with a 24-hour stakeout for a full year,” Sawant went on to say in her letter, seemingly suggesting that she deserved to have police protection because of the incidents. “As a socialist City Councilmember who has participated in Black Lives Matter protests, I am being told that my case of six threatening incidents involving human excrement doesn’t merit even a serious investigation, let alone protection.”

The Seattle Police Department, which has experienced a severe reduction in staffing, taking numbers to a 30-year low, has asked the general public for help in catching the suspect this week by releasing some photographs of the person responsible for the feces tossing.

“Friends of the victim were watching the home when the suspect threw a plastic bag, containing several individual bags of suspected human feces, into the yard,” the police stated without coming out and identifying Sawant as the victim. “The friends confronted the suspect and snapped multiple photos as he ran away. Witnesses described the suspect, pictured below, as an Asian man, approximately 5-foot 4-inches tall.”

Sawant has said she is planning on filing a complaint against the police with the Office of Police Accountability. Keep in mind, this is the same woman who was the leader of the movement to defund the police in the city of Seattle over the course of the last several years, proposing a massive slash to their budget of $85 million in 2020. Sawant was also among hundreds of protesters who occupied city hall in 2020 for an hour, demanding that then-Mayor Jenny Durkan step down from her post and that police be defunded.

And yet, she has the audacity to demand she receive personal protection from the very people she has built a career on attacking? Unbelievable. And if that isn’t arrogant enough, Sawant seems to think she deserves more protection than that of normal citizens. You know, the folks who are being violated by spiking crime rates.

The hypocrisy is astounding.
