The state of Texas is taking matters into their own hands as President Joe Biden continues to ignore the ongoing border crisis. The border has seen a massive increase in the number of migrants, including families and unaccompanied minors, attempting to enter the United States illegally. This has put a massive strain on resources and is leading to overcrowded detention facilities.
“Texas is adding shipping containers to the US-Mexico border in El Paso,” Abbott announced on Wednesday. “This is in addition to the razor wire and National Guard. Together, the strategies are causing illegal immigration at that location to plummet.”
Abbott included an article to a San Antonio Fox 29 report:

Texas has announced an “enhanced border security effort” where they are sending 400 Texas National Guard members and State Troopers to El Paso to assist with the ongoing crisis.
In photos that have been released by the Texas Military Department, the 36th Infantry Division troops created a border wall of their own with razor wire to stop illegals from pouring into Texas.
According to the Texas Tribune, over 1,000 yards of razor wire have been placed just this week.
