The View Suggests Black People Have Been Held Back From Leading Football Teams
On Sunday, we had our first Super Bowl where both starting quarterbacks were African American.
Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts made headlines for their phenomenal performances combining for 73 total points in the game. However, some members of the media wanted to take away from their achievements, and make an emphasis about race.
Sunny Hostin, a host on The View said, “Finally, we know that black quarterbacks can lead teams and are smart enough to lead teams.”
While maybe this is news to her, there are many starting and well paid African American quarterbacks in the NFL.
Hostin then ignorantly called for more black owners in the NFL. She might not know you can’t just buy an NFL team on Amazon.com.
