Trump Delivers Epic Punch To FBI For ‘Stealing’ Medical Records

It seems every day that’s passed since the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s home in Florida, we’ve discovered some sort of sneaky, underhanded thing the agents did while carrying out the operation. Trump has now slammed the bureau for “stealing” his “complete and highly confidential” medical file and history, comparing the agency to the Soviet Union. A pretty good comparison it seems, with how the FBI has behaved over the last few years.

“Not only did the FBI steal my Passports in the FBI Raid and Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago, but it has just been learned through court filings that they also improperly took my complete and highly confidential medical file and history, with all the bells and whistles (at least they’ll see that I’m very healthy, an absolutely perfect physical specimen!), plus personal Tax Records (Illegal to take), and lawyer/client/privileged information, a definite NO, NO. Days of the Soviet Union!” Trump went on to write in a Truth Social post.

Newsmax reported on Wednesday that a federal judge on Monday revealed that the former president’s medical records, along with other documents related to accounting information and taxes were taken by the FBI during the raid on the Mar-a-Lago estate.

“U.S. District Judge from the Southern District of Florida Aileen M. Cannon also granted Trump’s request to appoint an independent arbiter known as a special master to review the materials seized from his complex,” the report went on to state.

“According to the Privilege Review Team’s Report, the seized materials include medical documents, correspondence related to taxes, and accounting information,” Cannon wrote in her decision regarding the request for a special master that was made by Trump’s legal team.

The judge also put a stop to the Justice Department’s “filter” team review of the records that were taken from the property.

The purpose of a special master is to look over the documentation that was taken during a raid and ensure that it was all taken legally and that the FBI did not go beyond the bounds of the search warrant the agency was issued to carry out the operation. This function is normally carried out by an attorney outside of the situation.

The biggest concern about all of this is that there are elements within the government who are actively utilizing federal law enforcement agencies — and others too — as weapons to strike out at potential political opponents of current President Joe Biden. It goes without saying, that such a practice is illegal and undermines the values this nation stands for, not to mention the mission of the FBI.

Americans should be very worried about this situation. If the FBI is willing to do all of this to a former president, a man who still has considerable pull and sway within his own political party, what are they willing to do to average Americans who dare to stand by such an individual or who share the same values?

Trump is right. This country is being transformed into the former Soviet Union, one brick at a time.
