Trump: White House has Allowed Colleges to Become ‘Dominated by Marxists Maniacs and Lunatics’

In a video released on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump rallied a message that focused on the importance of reclaiming America’s once-great educational institutions from what he calls the “radical left.”

“For many years, tuition costs at colleges and universities have been exploding, and I mean absolutely exploding, while academics have been obsessed with indoctrinating America’s youth,” Trump said. “The time has come to reclaim our once great educational institutions from the radical left, and we will do that.”

Trump’s plan to do so involves using the college accreditation system to impose real standards on colleges. “The accreditors are supposed to ensure that schools are not ripping off students and taxpayers, but they have failed totally,” Trump explained.

Trump also emphasized the need to defend the American tradition and Western Civilization, protect free speech, eliminate wasteful administrative positions, and remove Marxist diversity, equity, and inclusion bureaucrats. He also plans to offer options for accelerated and low-cost degrees, provide meaningful job placement and career services, and implement college entrance and exit exams to ensure that students are actually learning and getting their money’s worth.

Furthermore, Trump plans to direct the Department of Justice to pursue federal civil rights cases against schools that engage in racial discrimination. “Schools that persist in explicit unlawful discrimination under the guise of equity will not only have their endowments taxed but through budget reconciliation,” Trump said. “I will advance a measure to have them fined up to the entire amount of their endowment.”

Many critics have voiced apprehension that Joe Biden’s administration has imposed a “woke agenda” on the public. For instance, the “Revitalizing Our Nation’s Commitment to Environmental Justice for All” order, which seeks to introduce social justice “credit scores” for environmental evaluations of the government’s actions.

Another example includes the Silicon Valley Bank collapse in March due to heavy losses, poor risk management, and a bank run fueled by bad tech investors. Interestingly, some of those in charge of financial risk management were also involved in launching LGBTQ campaigns for the company, such as a month-long pride initiative and a platform for staff to share their coming-out stories. Despite the bank’s precarious financial position, these individuals remained committed to perhaps the wrong areas of interest.
