Barely a week ago, a man equipped with enough gear and weaponry to carry out the heinous murder of Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh was arrested outside the judge’s home. No major media coverage was given despite Nicolas Roske having admitted to traveling “from California to Maryland to kill a specific Supreme Court Justice.”
Roske showed up to Kavanaugh’s address with a “suitcase containing a Glock 17 pistol, ammunition, a knife, tactical gear, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, a screwdriver and duct tape.” Thankfully, the would-be assassin called 911 to help himself and the unthinkable was narrowly avoided.
Now, however, despite a clear and present danger to conservative justices’ lives, based on the leaked Roe draft, calls for violence from Democrat politicians like Chuck Schumer and Lori lioghtfoot, and more generally based on decades of repeated aspersions and efforts to cast traditional values as harmful to progressives, the stakes have never been higher in defending a few courageous and morally-grounded voices on the high bench.
After the Roe leak, the United States Senate voted unanimously, reaching a rare 100-0 tally in a truly bipartisan result to provide additional protections to Supreme Court justices. The bill was then sent to the lower chamber where it ran up against predictably despicable defiance.
As reported by Fox News:

“The House passed a bill Tuesday to increase security for Supreme Court justices’ immediate families, with 27 Democrats voting against, less than a week after a man was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh…[which approves] a measure that had already been passed by unanimous consent in the Senate in May just days after a leaked draft Supreme Court opinion suggested it intends to overturn Roe v. Wade.”
In the Fox article, the irreedambly stupid and misguided Alexandria Ocasio-Cortex (D-NY) is quoted as saying the reason for her “nay” vote came as a result of seemingly inequitable protections provided for Supreme Court justices and regular citizens.
“I wake up this morning and I start to hear murmurs that there is going to be an attempt to pass the Supreme Court supplemental protection bill the day after gun safety legislation for schools and kids and people is stalled,” she said in the video.
“Oh, so we can pass protections for us and here easily, right? But we can’t pass protections for everyday people?” she continued. “I think not.”
What AOC fails to understand is that limiting access to guns IS the equivalent of not providing protections, as law-abiding citizens would inherently be at a disadvantage against both criminals, who don’t care what laws idiots in Congress pass, and against the very institution that employs AOC. It is hardly worth arguing that the biggest mass murderer is always tyrannical governments.
