VIDEOS: Mayorkas Repeatedly Slammed By GOP Lawmakers During Hearing: “You’re A Liar!”
During a committee hearing Wednesday, Republican lawmakers fiercely criticized Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his policies, which they argue are fueling the Southern border crisis.
Congressman Dan Bishop (R-NC) accused Mayorkas of not taking the situation seriously, referring to the increasing number of migrants illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

The heat on Mayorkas did not stop there.
Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) bluntly told Mayorkas that not a single one of the border patrol agents that he has spoken with in the past three years has expressed faith in Mayorkas as the Secretary of Homeland Security.
“Not a single border patrol agent I’ve talked to in the past three years has said that they trust your leadership or have faith that you’re keeping our country secure.”

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also took aim at the secretary, calling him a liar during her opportunity to speak, before her words were taken down.

These exchanges are just the latest in a string of criticisms from many Americans regarding the Biden administration’s immigration policies. With the number of unaccompanied children at an all-time high and border patrol agents expressing their concerns, it remains to be seen what actions the administration will take in response.
