On Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris reignited controversy with her comments about Russia’s interference in the 2016 US Presidential election. Harris, who served on the Senate Intelligence Committee, ranted about the claims of her investigation into Russia’s interference supposedly targeting specific American groups with disinformation.

While deflecting a question about the regulation of TikTok, Harris diverted to discuss the role of social media in spreading disinformation, specifically citing Russia’s ‘involvement’ in the 2016 election.

“What should happen to TikTok?” Andrew Sorkin asked.

“Well, I’ll step back for a moment and say that one of the things that should keep all of us up at night, is the level of myth and disinformation that is rampant and has been facilitated in a most extreme way by social media,” Harris said.

“And then we declassified our findings… Russia interfered in the 2016 election, targeting specific groups of Americans with dis and misinformation, with an intention to undermine the American people’s confidence in our institutions including.”

Harris’s focus on the Russia investigation, a topic overstated and widely debunked, detracts from more pressing national security concerns. Democrats, however, continuously emphasize Russian interference, years after the conclusion of the Mueller investigation.

During the summit on Wednesday, tech mogul Elon Musk left Sorkin speechless with a blunt response to an ongoing left-wing advertiser boycott aimed at X. Musk stated that Disney and other dissatisfied companies should stop advertising on X, adding, “Go f**k yourself.”

After Sorkin then named Disney CEO Bob Iger as one of the executives behind the boycott and appeared to be asking a question about advertisers when Musk interjected with, “I hope they stop.”

“Don’t advertise,” Musk explained.

“You don’t want them to advertise?” Sorkin followed up while Musk immediately reaffirmed his position.

“If somebody’s gonna try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f**k yourself,” Musk declared, leaving Sorkin visibly stunned. After a brief pause, the host began to speak again before Musk once again said, “Go f**k yourself.”

“Is that clear? I hope it is. ‘Hey Bob [Iger], if you’re in the audience.'”
