WATCH: Rashida Tlaib’s Staff ASSAULTS Fox Reporter And Cameraman With Umbrella

A male staff member with the team of Squad Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) took aggressive cold shouldering to a whole new level on Thursday, assaulting a reporter with an umbrella after his boss was asked a question about Israel’s prime minister.

Video of the incident was captured by a cameraman in tow with Fox News reporter Chad Pergram as he trotted behind and around Tlaib while she ducked his questions about whether a visit by Netanyahu to the U.S. would be a “mistake.” In the clip, a staffer with a bizarre haircut can be seen acting out his tough guy fantasy, expanding the umbrella right into the face of the reporter and the cameraman. Undeterred, Pergram flanks Tlaib and finds an opening.

“Is that a mistake by this Speaker to extend this request?” the reporter asks in reference to a possible invitation by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to the Israeli leader. “What do you think if the Democratic leaders agree to that request as well? Would you attend? Would you protest in any form?”

Rep. Tlaib silently marched on, even as her staffer got in her way to again block the reporter with an open umbrella and barged into the cameraman. “He hit me with an umbrella!” the reporter shouted, which the young man denied. “We have it on video guys,” says Pergram.

Viewers on X pondered whether Tlaib had hired a former organizer with Antifa, the far-left group that is infamous for fighting police while using open umbrellas to block their visibility during scuffles.

This isn’t the first time that Tlaib ignored fair questions from Fox, though it’s the first time she apparently endorsed violence. In April, network correspondent Hillary Vaughn cornered the Michigan Democrat as she waited for an elevator, prompting Tlaib to scream back that she doesn’t “talk with Fox News.”

“Using racist tropes toward my community is what Fox News is about,” Tlaib shot back before giving up on the elevator and trying for another. “You guys know exactly what you do, and I know you’re Islamophobia but you guys gotta go deal with that on your own self. You’re not gonna use me,” she yelled as the doors closed.

Shortly after Hamas’ October 7th, 2023 attack on Israel, Rep. Tlaib refused to denounce the terrorist organization’s beheading of babies while Vaughn kept up with her speed walking retreat down a congressional hallway. After Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced a resolution to censure Tlaib for making anti-Israel statements that month, the Democrat had a full-blown public meltdown.

MTG’s motion was an “unhinged resolution is deeply Islamophobic and attacks peaceful Jewish anti-war advocates,” she said in a statement at the time. “I am proud to stand in solidarity with Jewish peace advocates calling for a ceasefire and an end to the violence,” she continued. “I will not be bullied, I will not be dehumanized, and I will not be silenced. I will continue to call for ceasefire, for the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid, for the release of hostages and those arbitrarily detained, and for every American to be brought home.”
