Former President Donald Trump recently appeared on Nelk’s Full Send podcast and discussed a range of topics, including his musical aspirations and his relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

Trump stated that he had always wanted to be Elvis Presley and mentioned a recent project he worked on with J6 prisoners who had claims have been treated poorly. Trump hilariously explained, “The one thing I hadn’t done, you know, I always wanted to be Elvis Presley.”

In regards to Kim Jong-Un, Trump claimed that he had introduced the North Korean leader to the song “Rocket Man” by Elton John, which he said Kim had never heard before. As a public figure, Trump has always been known for his love of music and entertainment.

Trump and Kim Jong-Un met twice during Trump’s presidency. Their first meeting took place on June 12, 2018, in Singapore. This was the first time a sitting US president had met with a North Korean leader. Their second meeting occurred on February 27-28, 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam. However, the talks ended abruptly without any agreement being reached on denuclearization.
