Trump and Kim Jong-Un met twice during Trump’s presidency. Their first meeting took place on June 12, 2018, in Singapore. This was the first time a sitting US president had met with a North Korean leader. Their second meeting occurred on February 27-28, 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam. However, the talks ended abruptly without any agreement being reached on denuclearization.
