WATCH: Undecided Voters Reveal Trump Won Them Over During Town Hall: ‘He Was So Likeable’
A review of former President Donald Trump’s Fox News town hall by undecided voters reveals that the Republican’s charisma and stage performance may be key to winning over the few remaining fence-sitters from now to November.
Quizzed about his concern for the “tone” set by Trump in the past, one South Carolina voter told Laura Ingraham and Raymond Arroyo that he is just too “likable” as a man to resist anymore.
“Today, he was so likable,” said the man. “When he walks into a room, he owns the room. It is obvious everybody liked him. I couldn’t help myself but cheer for him. I’m standing in front of a president, and it’s very exciting for me.”

The sentiment was echoed by others on the panel.
“I went to both the Nikki Haley town hall and the Donald Trump town hall, and I can safely say that I’m going to vote for Donald Trump,” another man said.

“Donald Trump, if I could summarize what he said in one word, it was just ‘strength.’ He had a way about him that demanded attention. He really sounded like the kind of leader I would want to vote for,” one voter said according to the Daily Caller.
Another panelist said he appreciated President Trump’s promise of getting revenge on his persecutors by winning in November.
“That right there is the line I’ve been wanting to hear from Donald Trump this whole election cycle,” he said. “Is he running again to get revenge, to pay back, who do we have to attack, the vendetta? No, it’s my policies, my platform, my results, that will be my revenge.”
Other appealing elements of Trump’s performance included his unflinching assessment of some of America’s most intractable dilemmas, including the opioid crisis that has been sidelined as human trafficking at the border has grabbed the spotlight.
“He answered all of my questions about getting the fentanyl and all the drugs out over the border,” another voter said. “I think he’d be great to strengthen the homeless and try to help solve that.”
Padding his sizable lead in South Carolina with a few undecided voters may be icing on the cake for President Trump. He currently leads Nikki Haley by 30 points in her home state, though the former U.N. ambassador has promised not to exit the race after Saturday’s primary election. A transition of power at the Republican National Committee is likely to amass Trump even more support within the GOP’s infrastructure while he continues to lead President Joe Biden in a majority of swing states among general election voters.
