With Midterm Elections Over, Speaker Nancy Pelosi Weighs In On Whether Or Not Biden Should Run Again In 2024

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, stated on Sunday that she thinks President Joe Biden should go ahead and run for reelection in 2024, now that the midterms are in the rear view mirror. I have a better idea for Biden. It can be summed up in one word.

Retirement.

In all honesty, four years flies by pretty quickly. Usually, In the case of Joe Biden, it’s only been two years and this guy has managed to completely obliterate the economy, destroy jobs, push tyrannical mask mandates and a whole lot more.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I can handle anymore Biden. It’s torture enough trying to get through this term.

According to the Daily Wire, “With the midterm elections mostly complete and Democrats projected to retain the majority in the Senate and a slight minority in the House, the 82-year-old Democratic leader said that Biden, who turns 80 next Sunday, should run again because ‘he has accomplished so much’ and ‘has a great record.'”

You know, we have a minimum age you must be in order to lawfully run for the office of president of the United States. We really need to have some sort of maximum too. There’s no way a person in their 80s should be running for the highest office in the country. Biden is proof of that. You know, with his cognitive impairment and all.

The report revealed that Pelosi made her statement during an interview she did with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.”

“President Biden has been a great president for our country,” said the Speaker. “Over 10 million jobs under his leadership. Working with the private sector, of course. He has just done so many things that are so great.”

“He’s put money in people’s pockets, vaccines in their arms, children back to school, people back to work, for starters, creating 10 million jobs,” she went on to say. “He has made America independent by passing the CHIPS bill that says we’re no longer reliant on those who would withhold products that enable us to manufacture in our country. The [Inflation Reduction Act]… $368 billion in good-paying green jobs, clean air, clean water for our children, national security issue to stop migrations and competition for habitat and food, as well as honoring our responsibility to future generations. The PACT Act, honoring our veterans, the bipartisan infrastructure bill, all of it with justice, with equity, with inclusiveness, with diversity, taking us to a new place. He has been a great president and he has a great record to run on.”

For many election experts, before the midterm elections, the outcome was believed to reveal whether or not Biden should run for reelection. If the Democrats did well, then Biden should run for a second term. If not, well, you get the picture.

“If Biden can hold on to a Democratic Senate, then he’ll be in the catbird seat to run for re-election,” Rice University presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said during a chat with the Washington Post the day before Election Day. “Now, if it’s a red wave and the Republicans win the Congress and Senate, there’s going to be a drumroll for Biden to not be the party’s nominee.”

Biden then revealed that he has not come to a decision about running again in 2024.

“My guess is it will be early next year we make that judgment,” Biden previously said to reporters. “My judgment of running when I announce, if I announce— my intention is that I run again, but I’m a great respecter of fate and this is ultimately a family decision. I think everybody wants me to run, but we’re gonna have discussions about it,” he continued.

Again, one word.
