NEW: Michelle Obama Accused Of Sabotaging Wife Of Beloved Trump Official

Michelle Obama is being accused of blocking actress Cheryl Hines from appearing in Larry David’s new HBO sketch series honoring America’s 250th birthday, according to a report.

The former first lady is an executive producer on “Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America,” a seven-episode comedy series from David and HBO.

The show is produced through Higher Ground, the film and television company run by Barack and Michelle Obama.

Barack Obama is also expected to appear in the series as a guest star.

But Hines, who starred alongside David for 12 seasons on “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” was reportedly kept off the project because of her ties to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and President Donald Trump’s political orbit.

Hines, 60, is married to Kennedy, who left the Democratic fold and became aligned with Trump.

According to the report, insiders claimed Michelle Obama did not want Hines anywhere near the new HBO series and that the idea of casting her would make the former first lady go “absolutely ballistic.”

A source told The Daily Mail that Hines had hoped to reunite with David after their long run together on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

“Cheryl felt terribly hurt and emotionally injured because she had worked so closely with Larry for the entire 12 seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm and they had become like bosom buddies.

“Cheryl’s dream was to work with Larry again and be part of the cast of the new show. She firmly believed that the staunch anti-Trumper could put aside his negative political views about MAGA and Kennedy.”

The source said Hines’ hopes were crushed because Michelle Obama had final influence over casting.

The insider continued, “But banning Cheryl was a command from Michelle that Larry could not go against, even if he had wanted to, for old time’s sake, and mend their past close ties.

“He always respected her as an actress. But Michelle’s the boss. And you don’t cross the boss, especially a powerful anti-MAGA force like Michelle.”

Insiders claimed Michelle Obama does not control the show’s scripts but does have a say in casting and signed off on the guest stars.

According to the report, she made her position clear to people working on the project.

But she made it known to those working on the show, “No Cheryl Hines!”

A source added: “Michelle can be a b—h on wheels when she wants to.”

Another insider claimed Michelle Obama dismissed Hines’ acting ability and was mainly repelled by her political associations through Kennedy.

Another insider claimed Michelle doesn’t even rate Hines as an actress, adding: “Michelle felt that Cheryl wasn’t any great shakes as an actress, but mainly she felt she was disgustingly all MAGA because she was married to Bobby Kennedy Jr who she described as a turncoat to the Democratic party and a verifiable whack job as Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.

“Clearly, Michelle’s a victim of what they call Trump Derangement Syndrome, because her true feelings surfaced in her clear-cut rejection of Cheryl.”

The insider added, “It had nothing to do with Cheryl as an award-winning actress, but rather her supposed politics because of her marriage to Kennedy and being part of Trump’s inner circle of supporters.”

David, 78, has been publicly critical of Trump and recently mocked the president’s White House UFC event while promoting the new series.

The comedian said the spectacle made him “embarrassed to be American.”

The reported snub is the latest example of Hollywood’s political fault lines, where Trump-connected figures often find themselves frozen out by liberal power players even after decades of professional relationships.

For Hines, the alleged decision would mark a personal blow after years of working closely with David on one of HBO’s signature comedies.
