House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has released a list of witnesses, as well as additional details, for Thursday’s Biden impeachment inquiry hearing.

The hearing, which is titled “The Basis For An Impeachment Inquiry of President Joseph R. Biden Jr.,” will examine the value of an impeachment inquiry and review evidence uncovered by House Republicans surrounding the Biden family’s business dealings with foreign nationals.

“Since January, House Committees on Oversight and Accountability, Judiciary, and Ways and Means have uncovered an overwhelming amount of evidence showing President Joe Biden abused his public office for his family’s financial gain,” Comer wrote in a press release Monday. “Thousands of pages of financial records, emails, texts, testimony from credible IRS whistleblowers, and a transcribed interview with Biden family business associate Devon Archer all reveal that Joe Biden allowed his family to sell him as ‘the brand’ around the world to enrich the Biden family. Joe Biden showed up on at least two dozen occasions to send signals of access, influence, and power to those who were paying the Bidens,” the House Oversight Committee chair said.

The hearing will feature three witnesses: George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley, former Assistant Attorney General Eileen O’Connor and forensic accounting specialist Bruce Dubinsky.

Eileen O’Connor spent six years as the assistant attorney general for DOJ tax matters, where she oversaw DOJ litigation of civil, criminal, trial, and appellate tax cases. Bruce Dubinsky also specializes in financial crimes and has worked in the sector for more than 40 years and has served as an expert witness on more than 100 occasions.

Jonathan Turley is a nationally recognized legal expert who has published numerous works on constitutional law and legal theory.

“Based on the evidence, Congress has a duty to open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden’s corruption. Americans demand and deserve answers, transparency, and accountability for this abuse of public office,” reads Comer’s press release. This week, the House Oversight Committee will present evidence uncovered to date and hear from legal and financial experts about crimes the Bidens may have committed as they brought in millions at the expense of U.S. interests.”

The hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, September 28. It will be streamed to the public.
