BREAKING: Trump Gets Endorsement From 2024 Primary Opponent

In a turn of events for the 2024 Republican primary race, former candidate Perry Johnson has announced his endorsement of former President Donald Trump.

Johnson, the Michigan business tycoon, took to X (formerly Twitter) earlier today, announcing, “Having suspended my campaign, I am officially endorsing @realDonaldTrump for President of the United States. We must beat @joebiden to save this country and Donald Trump is the only candidate who can do it.”

Johnson stated in his press release that Trump’s track record in his previous term, including peace agreements, no new wars, and a thriving economy, solidified his decision. “I supported President Trump in 2016 and 2020, and am proud to offer him my full endorsement once again as he seeks the Republican nomination for President in 2024,” Johnson exclaimed.

Johnson joins the likes of many other Republicans who have backed Trump. Last week, former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal expressed his support for Trump, giving him a full endorsement. As the 2024 elections draw closer, the race for the Speaker of the House is also heating up. With Rep. Jim Jordan’s withdrawal last week, the House has seen an influx of nine candidates vying for the spot.
