JUST IN: Biden Administration Rolls Out Stunning ‘Gender Pronoun’ Mandate

Under the ideological yoke of the Biden-Harris Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has imposed a new mandate on its employees to enforce compliance with the chosen gender pronouns of people suffering from gender dysphoria.

According to Fox News, a former official from HHS and an expert from The Heritage Foundation has said that the new policy violates the rights of federal employees and will lead to terminations due to “misgendering.”

Roger Servino, the head of civil rights at HHS under former President Donald Trump, Harvard Law graduate, and now Heritage Foundation’s Vice President for domestic policy, told Fox News, “HHS and the federal government is requiring its employees to speak falsehoods.”

Servino first dropped the bombshell in early October via X, writing, “HHS today imposed a transgender pronoun mandate on its employees who will now be forced to deny biological realities with their own words or face firing. Those with faith objections should immediately request religious accommodation and prepare to fight for your rights.”

He added, “Here’s the HHS Pronoun Mandate more clearly. This admin really is requiring pure ideological conformity. Let’s see how tolerant this admin will be of those who will seek an opt-out out of faith or compelled speech concerns,” providing screenshots of an email announcing the policy.

The email read in part:

“It calls for streamlined ability to update names in HHS IT systems, outlining how transgender e(mployees) change their names in their official records. The guidance also makes clear that all employees should be ad(dressed by) the names and pronouns they use to describe themselves, clarifying that employees can wear clothing and (use) restrooms in accordance with their gender identity.”

Speaking with Fox, Servino said that under the First Amendment to the Constitution federal employees are protected from being mandated to utter falsehoods or being forcibly compelled to embrace an ideology fostered by the government or deny their religious faith.

He observed that “These policies would require all of those things,” adding that the push only started when President Joe Biden released two executive orders in January 2021 and June 2022 to combat “gender discrimination,” on the basis of “gender identity.”

Servino told the outlet that the new law poses a particular issue regarding HHS locker rooms and restrooms.

“Men who identify as female have the right to get naked in front of female colleagues in the locker room. It used to be that if you allowed a man to get naked in front of a woman in the workplace that is instantly a violation of civil rights law.”

The legal scholar explained, “That’s the quintessential hostile work environment, subjecting women to that. Now, the policy says to the women who may be uncomfortable with that situation, they’re the ones who have to leave.”
He concluded, “Governments cannot compel speech and certainly cannot compel false speech,” citing the landmark case of West Virginia vs. Barnette which rebuked a requirement for students to recite the pledge of allegiance, upholding students’ and parents’ rights to dissent.
“We protect the right of political dissent and here it’s a pledge of allegiance to the Rainbow flag that’s been essentially required,” noting, that all employees possess a “right to their faith” adding “your boss cannot force you to deny your faith as a condition of working there.”
Servino, advocating for the employees, told Fox News, “They are faced with a horrible dilemma. Do they hope that they can fly under the radar and try to avoid the issue and keep a low profile and perhaps hide their faith so they can keep their job, or do they stand up and say this policy is wrong and fight for their rights? And then see a gigantic target on their back after that.”
Under the leadership of transgender Rachel L. Levine as the Assistant Secretary for Health and titular Admiral of the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. as well as radical leftist Secretary Xavier Becerra, a move like this has been expected since 2021.
Erin Brewer, a cofounder of Partners for Ethical Care told Breitbart News after Levine’s confirmation hearings, “How can we justify having someone in charge of health and human services who doesn’t understand basic biology?”
“I’m very concerned that we’re having someone who’s in a position of authority, who’s going to be making policies for this country, who doesn’t seem to understand that  … when there’s a disconnect between the body and the brain, you need to get the brain in connection with the body because you can’t change somebody’s sex.”
