WATCH: Doocy GRILLS Biden On Low Polling, POTUS Snaps Back: ‘Check It Out!’

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy doggedly tailed President Joe Biden during a recent media availability to ask for his thoughts on the latest New York Times poll showing him badly trailing former President Donald Trump in five of six key swing states.

The question provoked a feisty reaction from the elderly president.

“Because you don’t read the polls,” replied Biden as he pointed at Doocy. “[Unintelligible] Ten polls! Eight of them I’m beating him in those states. Eight of them. You guys only do two, CNN and New York Times.”

“Check it out!” he added, finishing with a promise to send Doocy the polls.

Last month, the New York Times, Bloomberg, and Morning Consult released a devastating dataset showing President Biden trailing President Trump by up to 10 points with third-party candidates on the ballot and eight points behind in a head-to-head matchup. Overall, Biden is behind Trump 43 percent to 47 percent among voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The poll of more than 5,000 registered voters has an error margin of just 1 percent.

President Trump, however, is seeing his four criminal indictments overlooked by voters in places like Arizona, a state that narrowly voted for Biden in 2020 but now favors Trump by 4 points. In Georgia, another narrow win for Biden four years ago, President Trump’s lead has increased to 5 percent. Michigan, made up of a blue-purple mix of voters, was won by President Trump in 2016 and then flipped to Biden in 2020 by about a 3 percent margin. Today the two are statistically tied.

Thursday’s outburst is not the first time that President Biden has lost his cool with members of the media. As the crises at home and abroad continue to mount, Biden has snapped at reporters when asked about his son Hunter, while White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has called reporters “inappropriate” for questioning President Biden’s veracity related to his family business dealings.
