WATCH: John Kennedy Humiliates Biden Judicial Nominee After She Can’t Answer Basic Question

Senator John Neely Kennedy, who has quickly become a favorite son of Louisiana and a figure to watch in the Senate for conservative publications has once again made it his business to expose the ridiculousness of President Joe Biden’s judicial nominees.

As reported by The Daily Caller, Kennedy found himself on Wednesday sitting across from judicial nominee Sara E. Hill and she found herself seated in the steely gaze of the 71-year-old Junior Senator from the Great State of Louisiana, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

What Hill probably didn’t expect was to get a question that a first-semester law student should’ve been able to respond to with adroit erudition.

Kennedy, with his magna cum laude education in political science, philosophy, and economics from Vanderbilt, along with a law degree from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Oxford, (Yes, the one in England,) easily possesses the qualifications to be Professor Kennedy. On Wednesday in the Committee class appeared to indeed be in session. Kennedy asked Hill simply to describe to him the difference between a “stay order” and an “injunction,” and Hill figuratively choked.

“A stay order would prohibit, um … sorry, an injunction would restrain the parties from taking action … a stay order … I’m not actually sure I can give you that.”

The true stunner was yet to come though, when his turn to speak came around, Senator Dick Durban (D-IL) quipped to Hill for “passing the Kennedy bar exam” Severino noted in her post, “Senator Durbin even congratulated Hill afterward for “passing the Kennedy bar exam” – talk about grading on a curve!”

She added, “Stays and injunctions come before district judges all of the time. This is not a trick question..”

According to Cornell University’s Legal Information Institute a Stay  “is an action taken by a court to stop a legal proceeding or the actions of a party. A stay most commonly is issued by a court as a stay of proceedings in order to stop litigation from continuing, and they normally are only temporary.” Whereas, an injunction is “a court order requiring a person to do or cease doing a specific action.”

In short terms, a stay prevents the Courts from either taking or not taking a legal process forward, an injunction is similar but forces or stops another party from taking an action.

Kennedy has developed a well-earned reputation for stymying Biden’s nominees and exposing their lack of requisite knowledge for a given post.

Hill, the former Cherokee Nation Attorney General and former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney was nominated to become the Federal District Judge serving Northern Oklahoma and is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation according to Native News Online. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa and a B.A. from Northwestern.
