Beloved Actress Passes Away At 51
Carrie Anne Fleming, a familiar face to TV fans from “Supernatural” and “iZombie,” has died after battling cancer. She was 51.
“She died peacefully with her loved ones by her side,” a representative for Fleming told Fox News Digital in a statement. “She is survived by her daughter. It was a great privilege to have known Carrie. She was a beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind. She will be greatly missed.”
The Canadian actress died in her home country, her representative confirmed.
Tributes poured in following the news, including from actor Jim Beaver, who played her onscreen husband Bobby Singer on “Supernatural.”
“She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn’t seem to have an off switch,” Beaver wrote on Facebook.

Beaver also told Variety that Fleming died from complications related to breast cancer.
Born Aug. 16, 1974, in Nova Scotia, Fleming began her acting career in the mid-1990s. Her first onscreen role came in the 1994 TV movie “Viper,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. She later had an uncredited appearance in the 1996 Adam Sandler comedy “Happy Gilmore.”
Fleming became best known for her recurring role as Candy on “iZombie” from 2015 to 2019, along with her portrayal of Karen Singer in three episodes of “Supernatural.”
Beyond television, she built a steady career on stage, appearing in British Columbia productions such as “Noises Off,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Steel Magnolias” and “Fame,” according to Variety.
