BREAKING: Biden Bribery Allegations Were Ignored By DOJ In 2018
Last Wednesday, news broke that an unclassified whistleblower disclosure revealed to the US Congress claimed the FBI possessed evidence linking then Vice President Joe Biden to a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national.
As it turns out, this was not an isolated incident.
Former federal prosecutor Bud Cummins sent an email to then-New York US Attorney Geoff Berman on October 4, 2018, reporting bribery allegations and providing evidence that Joe Biden had used his influence to protect his son’s Ukrainian employer in exchange for payments to Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Joe Biden.
Cummins revealed that Ukraine’s then-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko was willing to travel to the US to meet Berman and could provide two “John Doe” witnesses to support the claims. Berman, however, did not respond according to an email obtained by Just The News’ John Solomon.
Lutsenko, a former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, has alleged in the past that Joe Biden used his influence to protect his son’s Ukrainian employer in exchange for payments. “There is a claim they have proof of a wire of significant funds from Zlochevsky to Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC which they claim directly went to the benefit of Joe Biden,” wrote Cummins.
“I have never understood why they think they know it went to him. I think the entity was associated with Hunter Biden and Archer. All I have been told is that the person who made the transfers was told that ‘one goes to Joe Biden.'”
Mykola Zlochevsky (mentioned by Cummins) is a Ukrainian businessman and politician who served as the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine from 2010 to 2012. He is also the founder of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, where Hunter served on the board of directors from 2014 to 2019.
On the other hand, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC is an investment firm co-founded in 2009 by Hunter Biden, and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former US Secretary of State John Kerry. The firm was based in Washington, D.C., and focused on private equity investments in various industries, including energy and finance. The firm reportedly invested in several companies, including Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company where Hunter served on the board of directors from 2014 to 2019.
“I can’t really imagine a legitimate reason for the DOJ not to follow up on an offer like that,” former federal prosecutor Bud Cummins said in an interview with Just the News and The New York Post. “I felt like it was stonewalled.” Cummins expressed surprise that the DOJ didn’t engage and attempt to verify the truth of what Ukrainian officials were alleging.
Similarly on Wednesday, the whistleblower documents described Biden’s alleged scheme in detail, including the exchange of money for policy decisions.
Senator Chuck Grassley and Representative James Comer, said in a joint statement: “The DOJ and the FBI appear to have valuable, verifiable information that you have failed to disclose to the American people. Therefore, Congress will proceed to conduct an independent and objective review of this matter, free from those agencies’ influence.”
Former federal prosecutor Bud Cummins described a secret search of his phone as “retaliation.” He said, “it doesn’t make much sense to investigate the guy who brings you the allegation rather than the allegation.”
Cummins is a former federal prosecutor who served as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas from 2001 to 2006. He was appointed by President George W. Bush and was confirmed by the US Senate.
Cummins was also involved in several high-profile cases, including the investigation of former Arkansas Governor Jim Guy Tucker and the Whitewater scandal, which involved former President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton. In recent years, Cummins has been a vocal commentator on legal and political issues, including the investigation into alleged wrongdoing by the Biden family.
