BREAKING: DOJ To Allow Attorney David Weiss To Explain Hunter Biden Deal Before Congress
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has begun to offer the House Judiciary Committee, which has tasked itself with examining the unusual Hunter Biden plea deal given by the government, dates in which Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss will testify about that agreement, the Federalist reports. The DOJ sent the House Judiciary Committee a letter offering various dates ranging from September 27-28 or October 18-19 for Weiss’s public testimony.
The letter reported that “U.S. Attorney Weiss is the appropriate person to speak to these issues, as he is both the senior Department official responsible for the investigation as well as the person with direct knowledge of the facts necessary to respond to the assertions in which you have expressed interest.” In the Federalist‘s opinion, this letter is indicia that the DOJ “is preparing to throw Weiss under the bus for the Biden-protection racket.”
This letter was received by Congress on the same day as it finalized its plans to hear damning testimony from Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s business associate. This letter was not signed by Merrick Garland, Biden’s Attorney General, but by a mid-level staffer. “The Department believes it is strongly in the public interest for the American people and for Congress to hear directly from U.S. Attorney Weiss on these assertions and questions about his authority at a public hearing” stated the letter.
According to IRS whistleblowers whole charges on Hunter Biden were mysteriously dropped by Weiss even after he approved them. Weiss also appeared to not have total authority in his investigation as he had previously led Congress to believe. There are also allegations that Weiss hid damning evidence from investigators and that his office actively prevented its probe from exploring Joe Biden’s prospective role in his son’s business dealings.
Committee chairman and Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) revealed one item of suspicious activity by Weiss’s office when he wrote on Twitter that “According to new reporting, FBI agents told the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office they had already corroborated multiple details in the Biden Bribery FD-1023.”
Wow.

Representative Berry Moore (R-AL) commented about the sweetheart nature of Hunter Biden’s deal with the DOJ itself on Twitter. He said “f you violate tax law, you end up in jail. Unless your name is Hunter Biden.”

Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means Representative Jason Smith (R-MO) similarly opined on Twitter that “Whistleblower Gary Shapley…DOJ prosecutors and even U.S. Attorney David Weiss thought Hunter Biden should be charged with multiple FELONIES. Yet, Hunter’s sweetheart plea deal only included a few MISDEMEANORS. Wonder what changed?”
