Candace Owens SHUTS DOWN Hecklers On X With Mic Drop Moment

The churning of online political commentary leading up to the Iowa caucus is frothing over on Candace Owens’s page on X where she silenced some followers for heckling her over her presidential preferences.

The conservative personality opined on Sunday about her willingness to embrace a Republican presidential candidate other than former President Donald Trump, mentioning Vivek Ramaswamy by name and writing he “caught my attention early on and I want to see him go far in politics.”

“I’m not too concerned. I like Vivek. I like Trump. Not really much else to explain,” she added.

The props to Vivek, an unabashed defender of President Trump, led a no-name “Florida Dad” to rip Owens for simply promoting another candidate who is just going to help Trump regardless.

“We know exactly where Vivek’s campaign goes.. directly to helping Trump. Which is your goal here,” he wrote, providing Owens the opening to shut him down for good.

“An argument could be made that Desantis’ online network of “influencers” made the greatest contribution to Trump’s campaign,” she shot back.

The jab was a reference to the online world of Ron DeSantis fanboys who for months have continuously looked for any opportunity to attack President Trump. Meanwhile, the Florida Governor’s own campaign is on life support, even in his home state where Trump has locked up endorsements from U.S. Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) and the majority of the state’s GOP congressmen.

Owens, who made her name as a national figure for the conservative organization Turning Point USA, has never been one to shy away from tough fights. She has produced a plethora of documentaries on Big Pharma, Black Lives Matter, and other topics while touring the country and tangling with liberal protestors. The fact that she claps back at her critics face-to-face as well as online only adds to her public persona.

It’s not hard to see why Ramaswamy has garnered support from Trump supporters like Owens. He was the first GOP presidential candidate to call for a complete pardon of Trump following his first criminal indictment, and his defense of the 45th president’s time in office has some speculating whether he is angling for the number two spot on the Trump ticket this year.
