Chris Christie Roasted For Spewing Lies About Trump: ‘BS Progressive Talking Points’

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is taking shots from the right after making controversial remarks about former President Donald Trump.

In a tweet, Christie accused Trump of being “Putin’s puppet” for allegedly refusing to say that he wanted Ukraine to win the war with Russia.

However, his comments were met with swift criticism from those who accused him of peddling “BS progressive talking points.” One of the most vocal critics of Christie was Sean Parnell, a decorated veteran and Republican.

In a scathing tweet, Parnell called Christie’s comments “ridiculous” and accused him of spreading false narratives about Trump.

“How ridiculous. Trump said he wanted to end the war. He said he wanted to stop all of the death and destruction. That doesn’t make him or anyone ‘Putin’s puppet’. Stop using BS progressive talking points,” Parnell tweeted.

“I want everybody to stop dying, they’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians,” Trump firmly stated Wednesday night. “And I’ll have that done in 24 hours, I’ll have it done. You need the power of the presidency to do it.”

Parnell’s sentiments were echoed by other conservatives on social media, who accused Christie of being out of touch with the Republican base.
