‘EYE FOR AN EYE’: Trump Calls On Republican DAs And AGs To ‘Fight Fire With Fire’

Former President Donald Trump has called on Republican district attorneys and attorneys general across the nation to pay close attention to what he called a “tremendous weaponization of justice” being used against him. Trump’s comments come amid ongoing legal battles including four indictments.

“I hope that Republican district attorneys and attorney generals throughout the country are closely watching the tremendous weaponization of justice that is being utilized against me,” Trump said.

“There’s never been anything like it. But you ought to watch. And frankly, it’s an eye for an eye, or it’s fight fire with fire. What they’re doing to our country is amazing. So, Republicans, I hope you’re watching.”

The former President’s remarks were a call to arms for Republican legal officials to take a more aggressive stance in their own jurisdictions, potentially signaling a more combative approach to legal and political battles against Democrats.
