Leader Of Gen-Z Group That Frequently Visits White House Blamed Hamas Attacks On U.S., ‘Occupier’ Israel

The executive director of the left-wing lobbying group Gen-Z For Change referred to Israel as an “occupier” and stated that the U.S. is responsible for violence and instability. Social media influencers with Gen-Z For Change have received “briefings” at the White House that they used to push administration talking points on Ukraine, the economy, and a host of other issues.

“The status quo is violent, from routine bombing to home demolition. To start and end with condemning Hamas only fuels the widely recognized apartheid state,” Gen-Z For Change executive director Elise Joshi wrote in an X post immediately following the Hamas-led terrorist attacks that have left more than 1,300 Israelis dead. “My family was jailed for fighting against the British in India. I stand with Palestine and all anti-colonial movements.”

Joshi said she has “watched the U.S. perpetuate violence globally and as an Ecuadorean, Indian, America” and expressed the need to “stand with all movements of liberation.” The 21-year-old also accused the U.S. of being responsible for violence and upheaval worldwide, saying that “Palestinians have been occupied for 75 years” while the U.S. has been “silent as Palestinians are murdered… forcibly removed from their homes and denied basic human rights.”

“Now Israel is blocking water and electricity to 2 million Palestinians living in Gaza half of which are children while simultaneously bombing civilian populations all with the consent of our president and out tax dollars,” Joshi stated.

Gen-Z For Change, formerly called TikTok for Biden, is a non-profit advocacy organization that was founded in 2020.

The organization has received significant financial backing from the George Soros empire in the past. From 2020 through 2021, Soros’ Open Societies Foundation donated $5.5 million to the nonprofit Accelerate Action Inc., which then funneled at least $300,000 in 2022 to another nonprofit, Gen Z for Change, which employs more than 500 “activists, organizers and creators.” The group’s activists routinely push for “climate justice, racial justice, indigenous rights and gender equality,” among other things, according to the Gen-Z For Change website.

The Biden White House has routinely employed Gen Z for Change to push administration talking points on TikTok and other social media sites.

In one example, the White House hosted a number of Gen Z social media personalities for a “briefing” on the war in Ukraine in June of 2022. Gen-Z For Change influencers then posted videos in which they blamed inflation and surging energy costs on Vladimir Putin and climate change.

Elise Joshi was also present for at least one Biden Administration event, when she was among dozens of activists who were invited to the White House to celebrate legislation targeting climate change. “In that moment, I felt a lot of hope that the administration was listening to us,” Joshi said at the time.
