JUST IN: Fox News Cuts Away From Trump’s Speech Right After He Mentions Tucker Carlson
During his campaign speech in South Carolina, Fox News cut away from former President Donald Trump’s speech on Monday just as he began discussing his interview with Tucker Carlson. Trump roasted Fox for their low ratings in the first RNC debate that took place without the 45th President.
During the speech, Trump addressed a massive crowd in South Carolina, touching on various topics from border security to education. However, it was his mention of the former Fox star that triggered the network’s decision to cut away.
“You know, they’re wasting a lot of time with these ridiculous debates that nobody’s watching. The last debate was the lowest-rated debate in history.” Trump stated, “We had 271 million people listening to the Tucker Carlson interview. That’s an all-time record.”
The network then promptly cut away from Trump’s rally.

The former president also took the opportunity to criticize the current state of the U.S.-Mexico border, saying, “And we had the best border, the safest border in history. Now we have the worst border in the history of the world. There’s never been a country with a border like this. Not even third-world countries, not even banana republics. No country would allow this to happen to them.”

Trump further addressed the controversial topic of critical race theory in schools, promising action if he were to return to office. “On day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto the heads of our children,” he declared.

The former president also reaffirmed his commitment to the Second Amendment, warning the crowd about potential infringements on their rights. “I will fully uphold the Second Amendment. They gained no traction. They’re gaining traction now. They’re playing with your bullets, your ammunition. They’re gaining a lot of traction right now.”
