Key Whistleblowers To Testify On Biden Family Peddling Schemes Next Week

The United States House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, chaired by James Comer (R-KY), has announced a hearing scheduled for July 19, centered around the Biden criminal investigation.” The hearing will feature testimonies from IRS whistleblowers who possess critical information related to the committee’s investigation into the Biden family’s alleged influence peddling schemes.

The whistleblowers are also expected to testify about the alleged politicization and misconduct at the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) with respect to the Hunter Biden investigation.

Chairman Comer stated that the Committee on Oversight and Accountability has made rapid progress in their investigation into the Biden family’s domestic and international business dealings. The investigation aims to determine whether these activities compromise U.S. national security and President Biden’s ability to lead with impartiality.

“From the thousands of financial records we’ve obtained, we know the Biden family set up over a 20 shell companies, engaged in intentionally complicated financial transactions with foreign adversaries, and made a concerted effort to hide the payments and avoid scrutiny,” said Chairman Comer.

The committee’s investigation has been aided by IRS whistleblowers who recently provided information to Congress that allegedly confirms many findings of the investigation. These whistleblowers have also provided information about how the Justice Department allegedly refused to follow evidence implicating Joe Biden, tipped off Hunter Biden’s attorneys, allowed the clock to run out with respect to certain charges, and put Hunter Biden on the path to a sweetheart plea deal.

Chairman Comer described it as a “two-tiered system of justice” that seemingly allows the Biden family to operate above the law. He emphasized the need to hear from whistleblowers and other witnesses about this alleged weaponization of federal law enforcement power.

The hearing will be open to the public and press and will be livestreamed online. Witnesses include Gary Shapley, Supervisory Special Agent, IRS, and an anonymous Criminal Investigator from the IRS, referred to as “Whistleblower X.”

Shapley has claimed that he and his team were instructed to abandon any leads that could have implicated the president.

He also has provided a disturbing account of alleged interference within the IRS since the initiation of an investigation into suspicious tax reports by Hunter Biden dating back to 2018. The previous week, Hunter Biden had reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, admitting to two misdemeanor counts of tax fraud.

Shapley stated that they were prohibited from pursuing certain investigative steps that could have led to President Biden. He emphasized that these steps were necessary.

The White House had to manage significant fallout after a second whistleblower alleged that the Justice Department was not leading the investigation into Hunter Biden and that the White House was exerting pressure to influence the outcome.

Despite substantial evidence that Hunter Biden had evaded paying millions in taxes by establishing a fraudulent system of limited liability companies to conceal income from foreign companies, a “stand down order” was issued. Shapley had previously alleged that Hunter Biden received “preferential treatment” from IRS leadership.
