Tens of Thousands of Brazilians Storm Presidential Palace, Congress; Shots Fired

Tens of thousands of Brazilians have descended on Congress and Brazil’s presidential palace as they protest the potentially corrupt election.

Police are using tear gas and even shots have been fired however this has not stopped the angry mob.

“Police try to regain access to the Brazilian national Congress building but are forced to retreat, sending crowds into cheers,” one Twitter account said.

“The brazilian have been protesting for 68 days now. And the supreme court just mocked us. Now people had enough. The brazilian congress is being invaded. People are not going to take a criminal in charge and clear rigged elections,” said one Brazilian on Twitter.
