Trump HUMILIATES Bill Barr In Scathing Response To Recent Comments
Former President Donald J. Trump unleashed a brutal, scathing takedown of former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr after the disgraced prosecutor badmouthed his ex-commander-in-chief in a recent CBS interview.
CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford asked Barr if he felt Trump was “losing it” during a University of Chicago Institute of Politics interview. Barr walked right into the leading question. He offered a clear insult to the former President, known widely for his accessible and frank manner of public speaking, claiming “his verbal skills are limited.” He further suggested that Trump is undisciplined in his speech.
Crawford brought this about by referring back to Trump’s recent commentary on Hezbollah noting that the organization is highly intelligent and expressing astonishment over the intel failure of the Biden administration and of Israel leading to the October 7th attack.
Note: CSPAN misidentified Crawford as CBS reporter Jennifer Smith
“Two nights ago, I read all of Biden’s security people, can you imagine, national defense people, and they said, ‘Gee, I hope Hezbollah doesn’t attack from the north, because that’s the most vulnerable spot,’” Trump said in West Palm Beach as previously reported by Trending Politics.
“I said, ‘Wait a minute.’ You know, Hezbollah is very smart. They’re all very smart.”
Then in an astonishingly disjointed display of ironic condescension, Barr interrupted the CBS correspondent, (transcribed with painstaking exactness)
“Uh, Ahem, He hi-hi-His verbal skills are limited. Uhhhh…And so he, you know, he’s con- you know, i-if you get him away from ‘very, very, very’ you know, uh, you know, the adjectives sort of…he-he..he’s unfam… they’re unfamiliar to him and he starts… and they sort of spill out. And he goes too far. Eh, you know, he’s not uh… he’s not uh very disciplined when it comes to what he says…so…”
Given that Trump has for decades made, lost, and made again several fortunes predicated upon his ability not only to communicate, but to market, sell, and negotiate, Barr’s ad hominem attack seemed to anger the former President. Negated though they are by Trump’s overwhelming success as a communicator, he clearly took issue with Barr’s remarks.
Trump responded quickly and harshly, rhetorically leveling the man who questioned his verbal capacities in a verbose, well-worded, and truly scathing rebuke posted to TruthSocial.
“I called Bill Barr Dumb, Weak, Slow Moving, Lethargic, Gutless, and Lazy, a RINO WHO COULDN’T DO THE JOB. He just didn’t want to be Impeached, which the Radical Left Lunatics were preparing to do. I was tough on him in the White House, for good reason, so now this Moron says about me, to get even, “his verbal skills are limited.” Well, that’s one I haven’t heard before. Tell that to the biggest political crowds in the history of politics, by far. Bill Barr is a LOSER!”
As of this report, Barr hasn’t responded publicly to Trump’s comments.
