VIDEO: Geraldo Rivera So Confident GOP Won’t Win Both Houses, He Makes Big Bet With Jesse Watters

Fox News host Geraldo Rivera, a screaming rage-fueled progressive who often gets into brutal verbal fisticuffs with many of his network colleagues, is so confident the GOP won’t be able to pull in both the House and the Senate this November in the midterm elections that he made a bet with his “The Five” co-host Jesse Watters for a $1000.

“I believe that this race is an absolute toss-up right now. I think the only numbers that matter are the price of gasoline and the Dow. If gas keeps going down and the Dow keeps going up, I think you’ll have at the very worst for the Democrats a divided government. Republicans favored to win the House the Democrats favored to maintain the Senate,” Rivera said, according to Breitbart.

Watters responded by saying,“I understand the anxiety for Democrats. The way they’re scared is so big that they might not get the House and the Senate back for several cycles. And that means no legislative wins, that means no Supreme Court justice confirmations. They’re looking at a few dark years.”

Rivera then said, “If the generic ballot has the GOP at 45.6% and the Democrats at 45.0%, that’s a toss-up right now. I don’t where your confidence comes from.”

“It is going to be a wave election and you are going to lose the Senate. I’ll bet you a thousand dollars right now,” Watters stated.

“A thousand dollars?” Rivera asked.

“Both chambers,” Watters stated.

Rivera continued, “Both chambers a thousand dollars you got it!”

The pair sealed the deal by shaking hands.

I really hope that Watters is right. Not just for the sake of his $1,000 bet, but because this country desperately needs something or someone to stand in the gap between the crazy of the progressives and the way of life we all cherish. If this does not happen America is in big, big trouble.

Going to the grocery store and picking up a few essential items is something that now requires you to surgically remove your kidney and sell it on the black market in order to afford a bushel of bananas. Okay, not literally, but you get the point. The price of food has risen exponentially.

Along with that, inflation and gas prices have skyrocketed. People are having a hard time getting to work because of this, but that doesn’t seem to matter much to the current administration. All that matters to Joe Biden is lining his pockets as much as possible before 2024.

By taking both chambers of Congress, we would have an opportunity to stop the agenda from moving forward and prevent Biden from implementing harmful policies that would further stretch the American people beyond their limits.

The radical left will not be satisfied until the United States we love is nothing more than an ash heap, replaced by the vision of Karl Marx, which favors the rich and powerful as they use the poor and middle class to make their fortunes. That’s not the America I want my children growing up in, how about you?
