During a press event Thursday on ‘ending hidden junk fees’, President Joe Biden lost his temper with a reporter over a question regarding the FBI informant file in which Biden is referenced as ‘the big guy’.
Near the end of the event, Steven Nelson from the New York Post asked Biden, “Why did the Ukraine FBI informant file refer to you as the ‘big guy?'”
“Why’d you ask such a dumb question?” the president snapped back.
Biden, who was also asked by Nelson on Tuesday about the existence of tapes reportedly proving a $5M bribe he allegedly took from Burisma, has remained tight-lipped regarding the potentially-damning situation unfolding.
Tuesday, he smugly laughed off the Post reporter’s question, widely grinned, then walked away.
“Are there tapes that you accepted bribes, President Biden? Is that true?” Nelson asked.
The responses above have been the standard for both the president and his surrogates since the bombshell allegations were revealed.
President Biden was previously asked about the allegations shortly after the FBI turned over the FD-1023 to the House Oversight Committee. “Congresswoman Nancy Mace says there’s damning evidence in an FBI file that you sold out the country. Do you have a response?” a reporter asked.
“Where’s the money?” Biden shot back while chuckling.
White House spokespeople have also brushed off the question repeatedly. When asked about the scandal during a press briefing last month, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby refused to answer. Instead, he stared at the reporter before shaking his head and simply saying, “Wow.”
