WATCH: Biden Begins The New Year With Cringe Brainfreeze On Live TV

President Joe Biden appeared to be stumped on live television while interviewed during the New Year’s Eve coverage.

Asked by Ryan Seacrest on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve about his favorite holiday foods, the elderly Democrat mumbled a smorgasbord of soft palate edibles with the help of his wife Jill.

“I’ve been eating everything that’s put in front of me. But I’ve eaten pasta, which I love, eaten a lot of chicken, chicken parmesan, I’ve been eating all Italian foods, basically,” Biden said between coughs.

“And ice cream!” Jill Biden chimed in.

“And ice cream, chocolate chip ice cream,” he added.

Earlier in the interview, Seacrest asked Biden about his memories from 2023, prompting the president to utter a downer of a message about jobs being eliminated or shipped overseas while defending his record of bringing “a lot of jobs back to the United States.”

“Well one of the big highlights stands out for me is my dad used to have an expression. He’d say, ‘Joey, a job’s about a lot more than the paycheck. It’s about your dignity. It’s about respect,’” Biden said as his spouse repeatedly stared uncomfortably at him. “So many people through the midwest and the center of the country, their factories are shipped overseas the last couple times out, and they were losing hope and faith.”

Curiously, Biden didn’t mention the federal government’s new electric vehicle standards which have left several manufacturing plants at the nation’s largest auto companies teetering on the verge of collapse.

The contrasting party with former President Donald Trump couldn’t have been more stark. The Republican earlier in the night gave his crowd a heartwarming message about making America great again before stopping to take photos with fans visiting his table.

Several X users noted that Jill Biden chose to sport a dress that looked like it was crying out for attention.

President Biden is going to need to pick up the pace against President Trump in what’s sure to be a blockbuster presidential election between two leading candidates who carry plenty of baggage. Trump continues to lead Biden by large margins in all of the nation’s largest swing states, prompting Biden to fire back at reporters for “reading the wrong polls.”
