WATCH: Fox Reporter Leaves KJP SPEECHLESS During Fiery Exchange

In Monday’s press briefing, Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich confronted White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre with questions regarding President Biden’s stance on Georgia’s election laws and voter suppression.

In the past, Biden labeled the 2021 Georgia election law changes as the “new Jim Crow,” creating a parallel between the laws and the historical Jim Crow laws that enforced racial segregation and disenfranchised Black Americans.

“And then in 2022, Georgia did have record turnout, but you had argued from the podium that there was voter suppression.” Heinrich then asked, “Does the White House still believe that that was true?”

“I don’t have anything else to add from what I stated last time,” Jean-Pierre responded.

Georgia legislation introduced stricter voter identification requirements for absentee voting, limited the use of drop boxes for ballots, and granted greater state control over local election boards. These measures, according to critics like Biden, risked suppressing the votes of minority communities.

Proponents, however, defended the laws as necessary for ensuring election integrity and security. Biden’s use of the term was a strong rebuke of the changes. As Heinrich referenced, the 2022 elections in Georgia saw record voter turnout.

Further, she questioned Jean-Pierre on whether the Florida Democratic Party’s decision to effectively cancel the Democratic primary could also be considered voter suppression.

Jean-Pierre declined to comment on this matter.

A few days ago, the Democrats in the sunshine state submitted only Joe Biden‘s name as a candidate for the presidential nomination, effectively poised to hold no primary for any Democrats in the upcoming 2024 cycle.

Jean-Pierre also faced questions regarding Biden’s new financial connections with Hunter’s business dealings. The inquiry was based on bank records obtained by the House Oversight Committee, claiming that one of Hunter Biden’s businesses, Owasco PC, had set up direct payments to the President. This raised questions about the Biden family’s previous assertions that the President and his son were never in business together.

The press secretary was asked if Biden had accepted payments from Owasco P.C. and the rationale behind such transactions if the Bidens were never in business together. Jean-Pierre responded by stating that she had not seen the report in question and deferred further inquiries to the White House Counsel’s Office.

Earlier on Monday, the House Oversight Committee led by Representative James Comer (R-KY), disclosed subpoenaed bank records indicating that Hunter’s business entity, Owasco P.C. made direct monthly payments to Joe Biden.

“President Joe Biden claimed there was an ‘absolute wall’ between his official government duties and his family’s influence peddling schemes,” Comer began.

“This was a lie.”

The Oversight Committee’s investigation claims that these were not mere personal transactions from Hunter’s account, but payments from a corporate entity that has been receiving funds from various sources, including China. This is particularly concerning given the ongoing Department of Justice investigation into Hunter Biden for allegations of tax evasion and other serious offenses, using Owasco P.C. as a conduit.
