WATCH: Vegans Find Out What Happens When People Try to Stop a Truck

There are some things that you’d think people would know without having to be told. One of them is that a human body, typically weighing between 130 and 200 pounds, is no match for a tractor-trailer meant to haul tons and with the heavy, diesel-powered Cummings engine to do so.

But, apparently, vegan protesters didn’t grasp that and so tried stopping a moving 18-wheeler with their frail bodies, with the truck driver not wanting to slow down and deal with them…maybe it was the lack of animal protein that made them think that was a good idea.

The vegan who jumped in front of the truck can be heard detailing his plan before the truck is in range, saying:

“We’re standing in front of the… slaughterhouse, where 10,000 lives are taken daily, 10,000 innocent lives, slaughtered here, for no more than the tastebuds of humankind. Here we have a truck approaching, where approximately 300 animals are stacked into this truck. We’re gonna stop this truck so we can bear witness.”

As a few protestors put their bodies in the way of the moving tractor-trailer, the truck doesn’t stop. It slows down enough to just give them a little bump. And, somehow, the vegans were surprised that their plan was thwarted!

How could this massive marvel of human engineering have continued past the faith, trust, and pixie dust of the anti-meat brigade? It seems that between every person in the video, except for the truck driver, physics was completely ignored in the concoction of this plan.

The cameraman now comes back to explain the scene: “Well, I almost got run over. (effing) lunatic wouldn’t stop.“

Yes, he must be the lunatic. After an expletive-laden ballad about how evil that truck driver must be, the video ends, leaving us all to ask, when is the next truck coming?

People on Twitter were just as unimpressed with the vegans as we were, saying things like:

“Were they planning to let 300 piggies out in the street? How in the world would the piggies survive..? They would get run over and stuff. That’s not very loving to the piggies, either”

“I mean…shouldn’t really stand in front of a moving truck. Could be a bit dangerous.”

“So much stupid… who’s the lunatic? 😂”

“If you want to be vegan, enjoy your choice. What I do not understand is why you feel the need to force everyone else to eat the same way you eat. What are you going to do when someone decides to claim that they feel sorry for the veggies and want to force you to live on air?”

Perhaps they should reconsider their ideology if it’s causing them to throw themselves in front of massive trucks..or they can continue to mess around and find out and let natural selection take its course.
