‘We Love Trump’: Former President Gets Warm Reception At Moms For Liberty Summit

Former President Donald Trump received an overwhelmingly positive reaction while addressing the crowd at the annual Moms For Liberty Summit in Philadelphia on Friday. The former president entered the stage to chants of “USA” and “we love Trump” which lasted for several minutes before he began to speak.

While addressing the crowd of parental rights activists, Trump covered a number of topics that remain atop the news cycle, including the federal indictment levied by the “Biden department of injustice,” growing Biden family corruption allegations and recent landmark rulings from the Supreme Court.

“Many presidents never get the opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court justice. I had three … and yesterday they ruled to set our country back on a merit-based system of education,” Trump said.

The former received a particularly loud reaction when he vowed to reign in the public education system and place control back in the hands of parents. “And by the way it’s not part of my remarks but I wanna make it part if you don’t mind… I wanna move our education system back to the states,” Trump declared, causing the crowd to erupt into loud cheers and applause.

He also advanced an idea that would allow parents to elect their local school principals.

The former president headlined a lengthy guest of prominent conservative speakers at the four-day conference, which includes several presidential candidates.

This weekend’s summit has been the target of an intense smear campaign from far-left activists and politicians. The Southern Poverty Law Center — a far-left nonprofit that has been successfully sued for defamation on numerous occasions — recently added Moms For Liberty and several additional parental rights groups to its nationwide list of “hate groups.”

As a result, leftist organizations have used the designation to compare the group to the Nazis and Klu Klux Klan. Dozens of protesters chanting “these h*es for Hitler got to go” and “Philadelphia is a trans city” have gathered outside the event and are expected to remain throughout the weekend. Some of the protesters have even been bussed in from New York, Virginia and North Carolina.

Trump pushed back on the baseless “hate group” allegations and praised the organization — which was founded to combat school lockdown policies — for their activism. “You’ve gotta be an activist nowadays because we’re dealing with crazy people,” he told the crowd.

“The radical left is even slandering Moms For Liberty as a hate group… you’re a hate group! You hate your children you hate everybody,” Trump said jokingly, drawing laughs. “Can you imagine? Moms For Liberty – hate group. I’m telling you these people are sick.”

“But Moms For Liberty is no hate group. You are joyful warriors you are fierce, fierce patriots,” he continued. “You’re not the threat to America, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to America. Joe Biden and the Democrat communists are the threat to America.”
