WATCH: John Brennan Goes Ballistic When Confronted On Hunter Biden Laptop Hoax

Former CIA Director John Brennan had a public meltdown over the weekend when he was confronted over his involvement in the infamous Hunter Biden laptop hoax, when several retired intelligence officials signed a bogus memo claiming the laptop contained hallmarks of a “Russian disinformation” operation.

The incident took place at the Intelligence and National Security summit at George Mason University on Thursday, where Brennan was one of the guest speakers.

Thomas Speciale, a national security consultant and former senior advisor to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, asked Brennan why he was one of 51 signatories to the thoroughly debunked document. “Why sign that?” Speciale asked Brennan in a video uploaded to the former’s X account.

An incensed Brennan then got in Speciale’s face and proceeded to forcefully point to his chest. “We never said it was disinformation. We said it was Russian influence operations, which is what they do. There’s a big difference,” the former CIA director snarled.

The laptop — which contained emails relating to the Biden family’s numerous business dealings with foreign governments — was labeled as “Russian disinformation” after the infamous letter was circulated. This led to mass censorship of the New York Post’s bombshell story on the matter by mainstream media outlets and social media giants, which used the letter as justification for doing so.

Both Twitter and Facebook prevented users from even sharing links to the story at the behest of senior intelligence officials, according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

FBI officials told Facebook and Twitter to be prepared for a story that will contain Russian influence in the lead-up to the 2020 election, which led to the story being scrubbed from both sites. Several media outlets also refused to cover the story, citing the laptop as proof.

On April 20, former acting CIA Director Mike Morrell admitted that the Biden campaign pressured him to “help Biden” by organizing 50 intelligence officers to sign a letter labelling the Hunter Biden laptop as “Russian disinformation.” The campaign official who reached out has been identified as current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Republican lawmakers have claimed.

One poll conducted by TIPP Insights found that 79% of Americans believe access to truthful reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop would have changed the outcome of the 2020 election.
