Legendary comedian Roseanne Barr responded to a general inquiry from Students for Trump founder Ryan Fournier Wednesday when he asked X users, “Who do you think President Trump should choose as his VP pick?” Barr’s answer has gone viral in the hours since garnering an overwhelming show of support from conservative commentators.

Without missing a beat and in a two-letter answer reminiscent of her sitcom career, she replied simply, “Me.”

The response to her self-nomination was immediate and inspiring.

Turning Point USA’s Bo Loudon offered his support promptly in the replies, while Tristan Tate of Tatespeech offered, “This isn’t actually a bad call. Trump Barr 2024? I’m in.”

Other users suggested the possible posting of White House Press Secretary as an alternative. Others observed that both former President Donald Trump and Barr are emblematic of the early 1990s, a far more prosperous time for many Americans, and a fondly remembered period for Millennials, GenX’ers and Baby Boomers alike.

Barr’s policies have largely aligned with Trump’s and the America First movement overall, and in recent years, even to her professional detriment, Barr has become an ardent advocate for Trump.

Rogan O’Handley aka DC Draino observed that another recent post from Barr on Nov. 21st had aged extremely well when she replied to incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden “Close the f*cking border then, dipsh*t,” when Biden bemoaned American deaths due to the epidemic of fentanyl smuggled in from Mexico and Canada.

In a tweet later on the 22nd she also alluded to a future appearance on Tucker On X with Tucker Carlson coming in the next week.

As previously reported by Trending Politics, Roseanne has been a fixture at Trump rallies and made several appearances on conservative talk shows in addition to hosting her own regular podcast. Her comedic roasts have lost none of their edge and her pithiness has found an apt application on the political stage.

Barr launched a whirlwind return to prominence in 2022 after her establishment-media-led ‘cancellation’ in 2018 for a tweet that was labeled as “racist” in which she quipped toward former White House senior adviser to President Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett. That tweet read, “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby,” according to The Daily Wire.

In February 2023 she explained her support of Trump to The Daily Mail.

“All of Hollywood, they just hate him and they hate those of us who like him. There is no way around it,” Barr said. Pivoting to her own cancellation, she opined, “So, yeah, I think they took me off because I liked him and I like him because I’m a Jew and he likes Israel.”
