HELL FREEZES OVER: Michael Rapaport Says He Might Vote For Trump Over Biden In 2024
Comedian Michael Rapaport posted an urgent message to his followers Thursday declaring his outrage over the dismal situation in America today and said voting for former President Donald Trump is now “on the table” for him.
Rapaport, a vocal critic of Trump for years, said in an expletive-ridden video posted to X that should next year’s election come down to the former president versus President Joe Biden, he might consider voting for the Republican he has spent years chastising.
“If it comes down to Pig D*** Donald Trump and Smokin’ Joe Biden… I’m sorry. I am sorry. Voting for Pig D*** Donald Trump is on the table,” he said.
“I’m sorry! I’m f****** sorry. I’ll still call him Slob D*** Donald Trump, Pig D*** Donald Trump and all that. But we need to get this whole f****** situation under control.”
While President Trump is a favorite foil of the comedian, Rapaport hasn’t confined his criticism to the right in recent years. He has jabbed “Squad” Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) for her hollow tale of surviving the January 6th, 2021 riots at the Capitol, blasted “snowflakes” who pinned their hopes on imprisoning Trump, and urged Democrats to “move on” from the narrative that Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.
President Trump’s steady rise in the polls against President Biden caused quite a stir last week when new data suggested he leads the incumbent in five of six swing states. Other celebrities like Barbra Streisand and Cher have pledged to leave America for good if the Republican is reelected, while former allies of Biden like legendary sportscaster Stephen A. Smith have said it’s time for the 80-year-old to retire.
The depression among liberals is palpable as Biden continues to manage both wars abroad and a sluggish economy at home. He has stoked the ire of progressive Democrats in Congress for pushing a package intended to fund Israel’s war against Hamas. Faced with persistently high gas prices, Biden backhanded environmentalists with new orders to begin domestic drilling in Alaska. And Biden’s signature legislation, the Inflation Reduction Act, looks ever more like a malapropism that failed to rein in consumer spending and high interest rates.
